the monstrous beast sadly but
relentlessly sailed alongside
Counting Stars with his eyes
wet with tears

Blazing
I was at the helm
devouring a
digestive while I
watched the contrary
water glowing red
with the blazing breath
of fire far out at sea

Far out at sea the favorite
sibling of the bamboo tree
listed the favorite words and sayings of 
his natural enemies, otherwise known as The Essex
eyes transoceanic teamwork
the critically flowing water
